We are married!

And that pretty much wraps it up for Mastication is Normal. I know I said I'd have a farewell essay, but it turned out that the other major priorities in my life had to take precedence, and so the essay never got finished. My apologies. This just seemed like the right time to do it, since this is a huge moment of rebirth for me (see photo above). The essay wasn't going to be a goodbye, anyway, just a see-you-soon-in-the-new-place: a new publication is on its way but will not make its debut for a while. That will give me time to take a much-needed honeymoon in Spain and give the design of the new place a nice new look. (It also gives me time to try to wrest the domain I want from the poacher who seems to have given it up.)

Thanks for your patience. In the new publication, Complicity, I'll be doing a number of the same things I did here, but it will be a little more thematically focused, or at least better-structured. The book-cover reviews will be back, and there will be new things as well.
