About

I am an art director and photographer based in Emeryville, California, just across the bay from San Francisco. I have been a graphic designer for over 20 years and have been shooting professionally for the past eight years.

In both my photography and design, I try to bring out what’s unique and compelling about my clients. I want the imagery I create for them to make them stand apart in the best ways possible.

After 20-plus years working in-house for some great nonprofit arts and education organizations, I made the leap in 2013 to full-time freelance work, and I could not be happier: every day is different, getting to work with a wonderful range of awesome clients.

Right now this site highlights only my photography work. Soon I’ll be adding some design galleries as well.
