I’ve been the art director for Berkeley Repertory Theatre since 2005 and held similar roles at Literacyworks and American Conservatory Theater before then. I’m also the managing director of Impact Theatre in Berkeley. On top of that I’ve worked for many more arts organizations and other companies on a freelance basis. Click here for my complete resume.
Enough about me; let’s talk about you. What makes you unique is the key to your success. As a creative director, my goal is always to showcase that individuality in my clients. Being able to offer design, photography, and video — not to mention expert proofreading and editing — means I can focus on that goal with every aspect of your brand. The end result is that I not only create a top-notch presence for you, I also make that presence consistent across the board, making it more effective and ultimately more successful.
Please take a look through my work and see what I can do for you. Thanks so much for your time.
My photos have been published in the New York Times, the San Francisco Chronicle, American Theatre, San Francisco Magazine, Diablo Magazine, the San Jose Mercury News, the Contra Costa Times, the Oakland Tribune, the East Bay Express, the San Francisco Bay Guardian, the SF Weekly, the Bay Area Reporter, and other periodicals.
My design work has appeared in the Print Regional Design Annual and Print’s Sports and Entertainment Show, and my old personal site won its category in the SXSW Interactive Awards.
My design of the Berkeley Rep website was featured by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a model of clarity and elegance.”
I hand-coded this site with help from Dreamweaver, JQuery Tools, and Highslide. The site is set in Whitman Display and Depot New; the web fonts appear via Webtype and Typekit, respectively.
