About

Me and Miriam

Self-portrait with Miriam, 2010

I’m a San Francisco Bay Area–based art director, photographer, and videographer. Over the past 20 years I’ve designed more than 100 posters for theatrical productions, as well as countless logos, publications, brochures, and other advertising and collateral for a wide variety of companies and organizations. In 1995 I began building websites, and over the years I’ve also added photography and video to the skills I can offer my clients.

I’ve been the art director for Berkeley Repertory Theatre since 2005 and held similar roles at Literacyworks and American Conservatory Theater before then. I’m also the managing director of Impact Theatre in Berkeley. On top of that I’ve worked for many more arts organizations and other companies on a freelance basis. Click here for my complete resume.

Enough about me; let’s talk about you. What makes you unique is the key to your success. As a creative director, my goal is always to showcase that individuality in my clients. Being able to offer design, photography, and video — not to mention expert proofreading and editing — means I can focus on that goal with every aspect of your brand. The end result is that I not only create a top-notch presence for you, I also make that presence consistent across the board, making it more effective and ultimately more successful.

Please take a look through my work and see what I can do for you. Thanks so much for your time.
